Friday, August 15th, 2008Trout fishing here in the Poconos, the Lehigh River has been exceptional, especially for August! We’ve had rain almost daily for the past few weeks in the form of showers and brief downpours, making most of each day fishable, with good water conditions. additionally, air temps have been between low 50s for lows and upper 70s for highs, making water temps ideal. Normally we have droughts and high temps this time of the year but not this year so it’s a great time to get out there!
