Trout season starts this weekend! Opening day in Pa. (Northeast) is on April 14th. Weather isn’t that great with rain and snow/sleet for today and Friday. High temps are only in the 40s and overnight lows in the 20s and 30s. This rain/snow and low air temps may make for a tough week ahead. Early season favorite flies are:
Beadhead prince, hare’s ear and pheasant tails, blue quills, hendricksons, march browns and some caddis.
