Here’s a “MUST HAVE” list of early season flies for Northeast Pennsylvania. Of course there are more, and many of us have thousands of flies in our boxes, but these are what you definitely should have in the fly box for the first month or so of the Trout season:

Little Black Stonefly Nymphs #14, #16, and Black Stimulators or Black Caddis Dries #16, #18.
