It’s still cold but Guys are out there and catching fish. Beadhead Nymphs are a good early Spring choice. There have been fish caught on Dries in Spring Creek and some local streams within the past week. Look for midges and small Olives, Blue Quills. Being that the water is low for this time of the year , this is providing some dry fly opportunities. The fish aren’t way down low, staying out of the typical fast and cold currents of March. Low water has kept some fish closer to the surface, making dry fly fishing possible. Next week should get into the 50’s and fishing should pick up even more. Fish the Special Regs areas which mostly will have been stocked by early April.
